Making a Difference
Our all volunteer Symphony Orchestra performances rival that of major orchestras. The Poplar Pike Theatre's performances are some of the best in the world, with many of the students reaching high achievements in the Arts World. The GHS TV provides a community service throughout the area, and the art program at the school is excellent. The Germantown Chorus performances reach people of all ages, and the Germantown Community Theatre has recently begun a new program for children of all ages.
One of our schools has placed its student art work on the internet so that its young artists can communicate with students throughout the world. Another school has expanded its string program and includes 60 volunteers who assist with this program. The Houston High School Show Choir is known throughout the region for its fantastic performances. The list of achievements goes on and on.
