Grant Information

The Germantown Arts Alliance mails grant application packets to potential recipients in March of Each year. Grants initiate, continue or enhance an arts project. After careful review, the board votes on the allocation. Initially, 75% of the allocate funds is distributed to each organization. After monitoring progress and a final evaluation, the balance is dispersed to the recipients.

 

2012 Grant Application Process                               

  • The grant submission deadline for 2012 grants is Wednesday, June 22, 2011. The completed form, along with three copies of the supporting documentation requested in the Grant Application Form, should be mailed to the Germantown Arts Alliance at P.O. Box 381005, Germantown, TN 38138-1005. A link to to download the grant applicaltion is located at the bottom of this page
  • The Grant Application Committee meets after the submission deadline and reviews all pertinent information. Grant requests are required to be completed every year for the next fiscal year. All grants will be finalized and ready for announcement by mid-October 2011.  
  • The GAA Grant Committee uses the following information to evaluate each applications.
        A.  Germantown Arts Alliance Mission Statement
        B.  Amount requested and amount of previous grants
        C.  Information provided in each Grant Application

            D.  2011 Grant Recipient's Final Evaluation Information

  • Grant notifications and Agreement Forms will be sent to grant recipients in October. The Agreement Form must  be signed and returned before any checks are sent.
  • The final 25% of each Grant is held until the Alliance receives a Final Evaluation Form. This form will be mailed in March of 2012 to be returned by May 1, 2012. The Final Evaluation Form must be signed and returned with supplemental materials before any checks are sent.
  • Applications should be mailed to P.O. Box 381005, Germantown, TN 38183-1005. If preferred, applications may be delivered to 2276 West Street. Please do not mail materials to our physical address as materials may be lost.
