Grant Information

 

The Germantown Arts Alliance mails grant application packets to potential recipients in march of Each year. Grants initiate, continue or enhance an arts project. After careful review, the board votes on the allocation. Initially, 75% of the allocate funds is distributed to each organization. After monitoring progress and a final evaluation, the balance is dispersed to the recipients.


Grant Application Process                                                                                                                                   


  1. The grant submission deadline is May 30 or each year. The deadline for next year is May 30, 2011. Please complete the form as required and mail one copy along with supporting documentation requested on the first page of the Grant Application Form to the Germantown Arts Alliance office. Please note that our mailing address is P.O. Box 381005, Germantown, TN 38138-1005. A link to download the Grant Application Form is located at the bottom of this ipage.

  2. The Grant Application Committee will meet after the submission deadline and review all pertinent information. Grant requests are required to be completed every year for the next fiscal year. All grants will be finalized and ready for announcement by September.

  3. The GAA Grant Committee uses the following information to evaluate each applications.

    C. Information provided in each Grant Application
     
    D. 2009-2010 Grant Recipient's Final Evaluation Information

  4. In September, Grant notifications will be sent to Grant recipients with Agreement Forms. The Agreement Form must designed and returned before any checks are sent.

  5. Alliance Board members would like to present your organization they 'symbolic' grant check of the fiscal year at your most attended event. Please contact the alliance office to set this up

  6. The last 25% of your Grant is held until the alliance receives a Final Evaluation Form. This form will be sent to you in march of 20010 and will be due May 1, 2010. The Final Evaluation Form must be signed and returned with supplemental materials before any checks are sent.

  7. If you prefer, you may deliver the application to 2276 West Street or mail it to P.O. Box 381005, Germantown, TN 38183-1005. Please do not mail materials to our physical address as your materials may be lost.
